Abstract

Welcome to Volume 2, issue 1 of the ATLAANZ Journal, 2017. This issue contains articles and best practice reports written by tertiary language and learning advisors in Aotearoa/New Zealand. Topics include a support programme to help Maori and Pasifika students adapt to  adapt to university life, an innovative academic integrity module,  student reflections on their first-year experience,  enahing vocabulary-learning amongst speakers of English as an additional language,  action-research seeking to enhance  students' critical thinking and a UK book on pan-institutional collaboration.
