Abstract
Welcome to Volume 2, issue 2 of the ATLAANZ Journal, 2017. This issue contains articles and best practice reports written by tertiary language and learning advisors in Australia and New Zealand. Topics include a support programme to help NESB students adapt to university life, an initiative to reduce plagiarism among international students, reflections on an international Applied Linguistics conference, a peer-mentoring scheme to build community among diverse student cohorts, and a programme that has postgraduate ‘peer-writers’ working alongside learning advisors.
